6 Year Old Autistic Boy Helps Shelter Dogs By Reading To Them

After a trip to the Carson Animal Shelter in Los Angeles, California, last year, Jacob Tumalan, who has autism, decided to start reading books to shelter dogs to help with their loneliness.

Jacob reads a book about cats to Pirate, a dog who killed a cat. He believes Pirate just needs a little extra love and visits him and other dogs every Thursday.
